Privacy & Cookie Policy

Your information deserves the same care and clarity as the work we do together. This policy explains what may be collected through susiesanders.com and the choices available to you.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Susie Sanders (“Susie Sanders”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact info@susiesanders.com. Where data protection law applies, Susie Sanders is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect only information needed to operate the website, respond to enquiries, provide requested services, and protect the site.

  • Information you provide: your name, email address, company details, message, and any information you choose to include when contacting us.
  • Client information: contact, billing, scheduling, contractual, and coaching or consulting information where you become a client. A separate services agreement may provide additional terms.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request time, referring page, and security or diagnostic logs generated when the site is delivered.
  • Preference information: the cookie choices stored on your device.

Please do not send confidential, sensitive, medical, or financial information through an initial email enquiry.

3. How and why we use information

PurposeLegal basis where applicable
Responding to enquiries and taking steps toward a coaching or consulting engagementYour request and, where relevant, performance of a contract
Providing services, managing appointments, payments, and recordsContract and legal obligations
Operating, securing, and improving the websiteLegitimate interests in a safe, effective website
Optional analytics or marketing technologyYour consent, which you may withdraw at any time

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies and similar technology

The site uses local browser storage to remember your privacy choice. Our hosting and security provider may use strictly necessary cookies or comparable technologies to deliver pages, balance traffic, and protect the site. These essential technologies do not require consent where the law provides an exemption, but we explain them here for transparency.

Optional analytics and marketing categories are switched off unless you actively allow them. At the effective date, no optional analytics service, advertising pixel, Facebook Pixel, or marketing tracker is installed. If one is added later, it must be connected to the choices in the cookie banner before it loads.

  • Strictly necessary: always active; security, delivery, and remembering privacy choices.
  • Analytics: optional; would help measure aggregate site use.
  • Marketing: optional; would support advertising measurement or personalisation.

You can revisit your selection through “Cookie settings” in the footer. You may also delete site data using your browser controls.

5. Service providers and transfers

Information may be handled by carefully selected providers that support website hosting, security, email, scheduling, payment, or professional administration. The website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Providers may process information in countries other than your own; where required, we rely on lawful transfer safeguards.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a genuine business reorganisation. We do not permit service providers to use personal information for their own unrelated marketing.

6. Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements, or to maintain appropriate business records. Enquiry information that does not become a client relationship is periodically reviewed and deleted when no longer useful. Client and transaction records may be retained for the period required by applicable tax and professional obligations.

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents may have additional rights to know, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined by California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To make a request, email info@susiesanders.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

8. Children and external links

This website and Susie’s services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. The site may link to independent third-party websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and you should review their policies before providing information.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised for material updates.
